EARTHQUAKE!!!

So last night i had an extraordinarily vivid dream.

In the dream I opened up my laptop and went to the Fox News Website. At the same time I was watching tv. On tv was, again, the Fox New Channel. On tv they were reporting some kind of devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.

While I was watching that story on the news, the Fox News Website’s Home Page changed with a breaking news story. The entire Home Page was covered with a picture that looked exactly as the one does that I created for this post.

The television news changed to this story immediately after seeing the image on my computer. And although I didn’t read the story on the internet and I couldn’t hear the story on the television in my dream; I knoew what had happened for some strange reason.

There had been two devastating earthquales in the Los Angeles area. One was somewhere between Downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach. It registered as a 6.1 on the Rictor Scale. The other one was somewhere in the South-Central portion of Orange County South of Irvine and Lake Forest. It registered as a massive 8.1 on the Rictor Scale.

It was unclear if one of the quakes was an aftershock to the other, but it was believed that they were two seperate quakes that happened nearly simultaneiusly. All I know is that they were completely devastating and there was no news feeds coming out the area at the time I was watching. I had this very forboding feeling in the dream that there was a possibillity of part of Southern California breaking off into the Pacific Ocean.

Last week I had a dream that we were near Disneyland, but couldn’t continue our trip there because of massive riots and an enormous fire accompanied by explosions happening near the anaheim area.

I am in no way saying that I am a prophet or that the Lord gave me this dream. Sometimes dreams do have a tendancy to be a warning about a future event though- the story of Joseph anyone? I am just saying that it was a very weird and vivid dream that seemed as if it was something that was going to happen and I woke up fearful both times. I just decided to post it here on my blog in case something really did happen. That way there would be record and proof of it.

But I certainly hope none of these things happen. I guess all I can do is pray- and maybe that’s why I had the dream.

   Hey there Anthony! Hope all is well with you and your family! I was on here checking out your site and I came across this posting about the dream you had. Dreams definitely are an interesting phenomenon! I believe there are many different kinds of dreams, some that are just a culmination of things going on around you, some that make no sense, some that are from the the devil that fill you with fear and some from the Lord that are warnings or messages to pray. I had a dream the night before last, it was definitely a dream of urgency from the Lord, it really made me urgent to pray and be prepared spiritually and practically: I had a dream last night and I woke up praying about it and I just
   felt that I should share it with you. It was an urgent dream and I
   feel, it was a message about the importance and urgency of being
   spiritually and physically (practically) prepared at this time.

   My dream 6/26:

   I dreamt that I was driving down 35th, where it goes behind the
   Albertson’s and crosses over 132nd, (not far from my home.) I noticed
   a house on the side of the road with smoke billowing from it and the
   windows were burned out, I saw the residents trying to get into their
   car to get away. Then I kept driving slowly and looking around and
   noticed that a bunch of other homes in the area had been on fire.
   Then I decided to pull over and call 911. As I did, I kept looking
   around and realizing that a bunch of homes were burning and people
   were all trying to get away. When I dialed 911 on my cell phone an
   evil skewed voice came on the line and said, “no calls can go through
   - be prepared for what’s to come.” That filled my spirit with concern
   and urgency that this was much bigger and something was going on. I
   started driving and noticed some people trying to get away from their
   home on foot, I stopped and asked them if they were ok, one of the
   guys stopped and talked to me and said he lost everything, I then just
   felt the urgency from the Lord to ask him on the spot if he knew the
   Lord, Jesus and if he knew he was going to heaven when he died. He
   said it was something he heard about but never took seriously and
   acted upon. I told him that the Lord said it was time. So, we cut to
   the point and said the salvation prayer together and then he was off
   to catch up with the others. I then drove to the church. When I got
   there I saw Pr. Carolyn in the hall, preparing stuff. I went into a
   room and saw Pr. Jonathan in there holding baby Gracie in one arm and
   one of those mobile bins with supplies in it, files with papers, a
   bible, other stuff. I saw Pr. Judy in the room as well, preparing
   supplies. Everyone had very urgent and concerned looks on their
   faces, like it was a serious time of action. I asked them if they
   were able to call out on their cell phones and they said no, they also
   got an evil sounding skewed voice on the line, with different messages
   than I got. Jonathan said his message was about many people being
   dead in Japan and many more to come.

   When I woke up I felt the urgency to pray right away, for God’s mercy
   to be on His people and to prepare our hearts and to give us the
   wisdom and practical knowledge to prepare physically as well.

   I really felt the urgency that this is the time to be spiritually and
   physically prepared. To have supplies in a mobile kit ready to go, to
   sustain your family for a few days. Also, include a bible and
   anointing oil and other spiritual tools as well.

   I also felt the importance of not relying on our cell phones so much
   and having a plan in place with our families if there is an emergency
   a place to meet up at if you are apart during an emergency and cannot
   get a hold of each other over the phone. Our personal meet up place
   is the church. I think that is the best place for us to meet as a
   church family. Then we are all together and can help and support each
   other as well as others that will come. Many others….

   Anyways, just thought I would share it with you. It would be
   interesting to see if anyone else had a dream as well.

   I know I will be in prayer today, I feel that is why we have dreams
   like that, to pray.
