Old Man, New Man by Stephen Strang

This book showed me that many of the doubts, struggles, and fears that I have as a man are common and can be faced without any shame through Christ and a community of men who love and care for me as I am.

Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

This book helped me deal with some of the disenfranchisement I have felt from the Church over the years, and showed me that a personal relationship with a living Christ can impact the world around me through real-authentic relationship with unbelievers.

Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell

Even thought this book can be a little controversial, it showed me how an ancient faith can be alive and relevant in the world today. It showed me that following Christ is not just a simple prayer or decision, but a lifestyle that must be lived out every day.
