Being Healthy Is…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

…Not being over obsessive about your eating habits- allowing yourself at least one “cheat” meal per week and one “cheat” snack per week. When indulging in these “cheats”, don’t become a glutton and overdue yourself. Allow yourself to eat something that you really enjoy for these meals and snacks but don’t eat as much as you can. Know when to say when. Overindulging can lead to habit, and even addiction, which leads to weightgain and poor health.

My eating-week runs from Sunday to Saturday. My “cheat” meal of choice for the week is pizza, but I don’t allow myself to eat as much as I would have previously. My “cheat” snack of choice is an M & M Blizzard from Dairy Queen. But with both of these I must limit myself to once per week and keep track of when and what I cheated with so I can manage my eating habits throughout the remainder of the week and plan for the week to come.

Remember: Those who fail to plan; FAIL.
