It is the greatest joy in life to have children. What an honor to be able to steward God’s own creation- ones which were made in His Image!
What a pleasure to see life through the eyes of a child! How exciting to see you and to see your spouse in the face of your young! The infiniteness of possibility and innocense in their eyes is nearly unbearable!
Having a son is the greatest of responsibillities: fostering respect, leadership, determination, and awareness into a man is humbling to say the least. To know your role in shaping the next generation is exilerating, yet terrifying!
How beautiful it is to behold your daughter: nurturing her gentleness, her esteem, and her generosity is crucial to her developement and a great priveledge to do so. A daughter is to cherish and to protect.
To hear my son ramle off question after question is like looking in a mirror and brings fresh life to my aging body.
To watch my daughter dance and smile and learn to persuade those she comes into contact with is breath-taking!
From time to time I get so frusterated with my son’s attitude and rock-solid determination. From time to time I get so annoyed with my daughter’s squeels and screams and never-ending demands. But I wouldn’t have it any other way! These kids are beautiful and make life SO worth living! I am in love!
