Ignition

Yesterday I recapped the Identity message series that we have been going through since September. it was a powerful time as I laid out the church’s mission, vision, and purpose. People understood it before, but something special happened yesterday-people began to ‘get it’ for the first time.
I saw in people’s eyes and heard in their voices that they really believed that our church could reach hundreds for Christ by the end of the year by bein a community of grace, love, and hope.
I talked about how Jesus said that the gates of he’ll would not prevail against te church and I saw people began to be empowered and built up in the Spirit.
I’ve always known that my vision
for this church was possible, but now I’m starting to slowly see it happen and it’s great…and really scary!
Pray for us as we grow. Pray that God
will ignite the vision within each person a Fellowship Church.
Pray that God would send the lost in droves to hear the Gospel.
Pray that God would send the saved to join forces with me in volunteering and ministering to see God’s Kingdom grow through Fellowship Church.
Pray that people would begin to give to our vision, as financial giving had been WAY down, so that we can financially support our outreach and pay our minister’s a liveable wage.
Pray specifically for a gifted sound technition and a full worship band- some of our greatest needs.
But most importantly pray that we will worship the Lord Jesus Christ with all that we have, that we will grow on relationship to Him, that we will connect in authentic, encouraging, and accountable relationships with one another, that we would serve and meet the needs of the world around us, and that we would share the grace, love, and hope that we have found in Christ in a tangible way with everyone!
