Church Marketing 101, Part 2

What I learned most from chapter 2 of Marketing 101 is that every little thing we do as a church is marketing. Everything we do, from bulletins to sermons, communicate who we are, what we value, and more importantly who we value. Often times our intentions are good and pure, but the way we communicate ourselves to outsiders often hinders them from ever being properly exposed to what we “sell” (the Gospel). As a pastor, I will tirelessly try to look in on what we do from an outsiders point of view to see if the message that we intend and the
message that we are communicating are complimentary. I realize that I will have to seek outsider’s opinions for this to be done most objectively.
