The Truth About Managing People, Part 7 & 8
There wasn’t one consecutive thing that stuck out to me in Part 7 and 8 of The Truth About Managing People, but one thing that came to mind was that I don’t evaluate my leaders and volunteers frequently enough. I don’t give them enough positive or negative feedback. Once I do give them feedback, it can tend to be demoralizing because I didn’t deal with particular behaviors immediately. This brings me back to Part 5; I need to be bolder in confronting and praising those I lead.
